About the Artist

Judi Bagnato’s artwork reflects her personal faith and the desire to find meaning and a feeling of peace in a world full of uncertainties. She create contemporary mixed media paintings, looking for a quiet balance between expressive organic forms and abstraction, combining layers of intricate textures and elements and expressive brushwork to create a timeless yet contemporary look.  Over the past 25 years, her paintings have been published and licensed both nationally and throughout the world.  Bagnato artwork can be found hanging on the walls of local first-time art buyers as well as in the collection of seasoned art buyers and corporate collections.  Today, She sells her original contemporary wall art directly to the consumer as well as to interior designers and other trade professionals.

Focusing on color, texture and composition, I strive to create an atmospheric, positive mood in every one of my paintings.
My process is intentionally slow, thoughtful, and intuitive—much like a meditation while painting. The result is artwork that is most often described as serene and calming. I don’t try to represent scenes accurately, but instead use reflections of memories and imagination to achieve the essence of what I am painting.
