About the ArtistI create in watercolor, pastel, and pencil. My artistic style includes realism and impressionism. My goal as an artist is forging connections between the viewer and the art, creating an uplifting emotional and educational experience. I’m a self-taught artist, also learning from other professional artists. My artwork has appeared in group shows as well as a solo exhibition at the Waltuch Gallery in Tenafly, NJ. |
There’s symbolism and meaning in every painting and drawing I create. Jewish holidays like Passover, Sukkot, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, and Shabbat all have specific traditions and objects linked to their celebration. Each Judaica item, like a shofar, menorah, or kiddush cup boasts a unique design and form, shaped by its role in religious observance.
It’s these things that inspire me to create Jewish art expressing the essence of the Jewish holidays, Shabbat, and timeless Judaica objects.
